Okay, this is embarrassing. "Back in the day" I found Barney (yes, the purple dinousaur) annoying. "I love you, you love me, etc. ad nauseum." I swore (this was after Nicci was too old for it to matter) that I'd never allow that cloying relic in my home.
Well, he's still annoying, but the annoyance stems from the fact that, and damn I hate to admit this, I like and respect the show. There's talent, valuable lessons, worthwhile content. I'm not thrilled about it, but, well, I think Barney is good stuff. (Sigh)
