Political Correctness 3/21/08
To all those who decry political correctness, I have this question. Were you, then, outraged by the decision of all those country radio stations who refused to play any Dixie Chicks songs after their politically incorrect statements about President Bush? Or does your disdain for political correctness only apply to those on the left?

ReplyDeleteThe statements were not politically incorrect. They were hateful and they were made on foreign soil. That some chose to boycott in protest was simply freedom of expression, one of those rights our oppressive goverment grants us, much like the right of some bimbos to travel the globe and pretend that their opinions mean anything to anyone with half a brain. And it's the left that is pushing for the Fairness Doctrine because they can't draw an audience on a level playing field.
